About this property
Spion Kop Lodge is set on a 700 hectare farm, just 9.3 mi north of Winterton. It borders the Spion Kop Nature Reserve and is located close to historic battlefields. The double rooms are located at the original homestead, and each room comes with a patio and private bathroom. The self-catering units are equipped with kitchen and BBQ facilities. The original barn has been converted into a reception area, dining room and a pub. Other facilities include a conference room and an outdoor pool. Guests can book guided tours to explore historic battlefields, Mount Alice and the campground where Winston Churchill stayed during the Anglo-Boer War. Other activities offered include game drives, horseback riding and bird watching. Spion Kop Lodge is 30 minutes; drive away from Ladysmith.
