The Olive Thrush Cottage is on a small-holding at the edge of town and offering views of a freshwater dam with lots of bird life. The Cottage is peaceful and tranquil, a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful Karoo countryside, yet only a 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants in Prince Albert. The cottage is beautifully decorated with an open-plan living are and kitchen. Indoor fireplace (starter pack of wood provided). Free WIFI. The bedroom has air conditioning, mosquito nets and mosquito screens on the windows to protect you from some flying visitors, if they do make an appearance. There is also an electric blanket to keep the cold Karoo nights at bay. It sleeps two to four people comfortably in one bedroom and has one bathroom. Ideal for a family of 4. The bedroom has one extra length king-sized bed, and two extra length single beds. There is also a sleeper couch in the living room. The bathroom has a large shower and soft fluffy towels are provided. The more adventurous have the option to a refreshing outside shower, under the stars, which is great for those hot summer evenings. There is safe off-street parking available.
