Our hosts Dave and Annamarie were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay super comfortable and provided everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious not to mention the freshly baked bread and cake that was mouthwatering. The room was neat and clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again in the future.

  • Hi, I would like to book 2 rooms for the 20th and 21st March, however the one room will be for Mother and Daughter. Are you able to offer twin beds for them?
    Good morning, Yes, we can offer twin beds. Ideally this works better in Deluxe rooms.. more spacious than Standard rooms. The Studio room however, can only be a queen bed

    Yes we can. We have 3 self catering apartments by the sea. We also have 6 rooms in our guest house in Albertyn Street where we can provide breakfast.

Owner-run guesthouse with hand-painted interiors provide an artistic, unique, personal touch. Enjoy home made jam, bread, rusks & cookies. Situated less than 1km from town & sea (where whales can be seen from the cliff path between June & November).
Following a 3 week holiday in 2003, we feel in love with Hermanus. Within months we'd sold our house in UK, quit our jobs, & started a new life in SA. Huge renovations over several years & The Potting Shed was transformed!! We've never looked back.
Situated 1km from town, sea, cliff-path & Fernkloof Nature Reserve. Quad bike through the vineyards, wine taste, sea kayak, whale watch, or visit the penguins! Shark cage diving 40 minutes from here. Book with us for a special discount!
