Beautiful location and surroundings. clean and cosy cottage

Delightful place, well-equipped & comfortable cottage. The lack of WiFi and TV was brilliant and our family spent loads of quality time together plating boardgames and talking. Loved it!

An absolutely wonderful stay. The lovely view of the river from our coattage and the sound of the flowing water made the journey to the lodge worthwhile. Lynne was very accommodating. She sent us a welcome message made sure we were comfortable while we we there. There are amenities to cater for children and adults as well.

Loved the location on the riverbank. Owner very friendly and helpful. Unit well equipped. Though it was very cold at night, outside, it was cosy and warm inside with a lovely log fire downstairs and warm bedding upstairs, so never felt the cold indoors.

We had an absolute wonderful stay in Pygmy, beautiful house, magical surroundings. The place was equipped with everything we needed, with a personal touch of freshly picked flowers on the table and complementary firewood, which came in very handy. We enjoyed the hike and playroom thoroughly. We were hosted by two very kind people who clearly go out of their way to make their guests priority and make them feel comfortable. We can most certainly recommend Umzimkulu River Lodge and they will see us again. Our full body massages with Londiwe were absolutely amazing! We wish we could stay longer.
