Excellent experience all round. Great service, guiding, room and food. Hopefully the pool will be rebuilt soon. Important destination to support local communities.

South AfricaiXaus was really surprisingly a very special place! Warmth of staff, delicious meals, the reason this place exists, resonates strongly. Stayed 2 nights. Planned as a "once-off" visit - but i am sure we will find a reason to return one day to feel the magic again! Sundowners drive was beautiful with drinks and snacks provided!

South AfricaDer Ort ist einfach magisch und die Menschen vor Ort sind so wunderbar! wir waren zwei Nächte dort, was man sich unbedingt gönnen sollte, denn die Ruhe und die Magie ist unglaublich wohltuend! Das Personal ist sehr sweet und unser Guide Carlos, war der beste Guide den wir auf der ganzen Reise hatten! auch die Fahrt zur lodge, die circa eine Stunde dauert, ist traumhaft schön und die Salzwasserdusche haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden.

Each Chalet is tastefully decorated with furniture to enhance the authentic atmosphere of the Kgalagadi. Guests are provided with high quality linen and comforters. The chalets include a private bathroom with a a shower and toilet.
Enjoy the view of many animal species at the water pan. Guests are taken out on guided bush walks and visit bushmen artists in their village. Xaus Lodge offers a free shuttle service.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.

- Hi! Are your rooms equipped with air-conditioning units?We do not have any air conditioning. We do however now have solar power in the chalets and all guests will be able to utilize the fans to keep cool.Answered on 9 January 2023
