What a wonderful property! Exceeded all expectations. Amazing, old-school hostel vibe. They're not trying for and don't want to be an industrial warehouse party hostel. It's a down to earth place to chill, hang with new friends, and work on a business-grade internet connection (stable averaging 40 Mbps). Cool nooks to hang out alone or with others. Backpacker-priced restaurant with great breakfast. Entire staff is amazing and a few live on premises. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I swing back to Cape Town. Thank you for having me.

The staff at Zebra Crossing was excellent - helpful, friendly, kind. Doniel and Katrin - thanks and nice to have met you. Also they work with the knowledgeable guide and driver, Craig, to arrange rides to/from the airport or any other location that you may need to go to for a reasonable cost. I would stay here again.

Zebra Crossing worked out perfect. Location is easy 5min to Long street, can catch hop on/off bus. Stores nearby. Plus the driver "Craig" is exceptional to arrange airport pic up/drop off, sightseeing tours etc.

Katherine (not sure of the spelling) - the manager - was so hospitable from the moment I arrived by providing me a map and brochures of what I was interested in doing. The best part was that I needed to call my credit card overseas to make sure there wasn't a hold on my card, and she allowed me to use phone and dialed the # for me. She also provided me the person's Whatsapp # that they use shuttle services to the airport for, I believe his name is Craig. Craig is very friendly, trustworthy, patient and a good driver. He picked me up from Waterfront and charged his normal Uber rate. He also helped me try to find and enquired for sealing/packing tape that wasn't a solution for my suitcase that broke the night before I was leaving, but I ended up just getting it sealed at the airport based on his advice too. My recommendation is for hostel to advertise his contact on sites and communication emails since he's a great staff member of this place!
