United KingdomWe liked everything
This is a really neat hotel very well situated for sightseeing in Reykjavik. We ate in the restaurant one night and had a really good meal. The rooms were very good and breakfast was lovely. Very quirky

United StatesMy only complaint was the awkward route you must take from the only elevator bank to the Heritage section of the hotel. Very easy to get lost and there is absolutely no signage to help you find elevators. (Heritage section is a separate, attached building).
Location is great - 1/2 block to main shopping street, bars, restaurants and 1 block down to major bus route stops. Liked the rooms in Heritage section, with ocean view - but an awkward route to get to/from elevators. Modern bathroom with heated floor was wonderful.

Great location behind Main Street. Secure parking nearby. Good breakfast. Nice chill atmosphere. The staff helped me change my room to a higher floor even though hotel was fully booked. Plenty of spaces to work or relax in various lobbies, reading rooms and bar.

United KingdomThe curtains are tiny and are not measured to the window size. Which means youu it are constantly trying to sleep in daylight all night. Why make them black out curtains if the windows are larger than they are? Pointless!!
Good location

United KingdomThe bedroom curtains. You couldn’t fully block the light coming in and as it is light throughout the night, this impacted our sleep. It was a little noisy outside but we always sleep with the windows open.
perfect location to explore Reykjavík. Very central. Breakfast was really good. the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. (And I travel a lot) the decor was really cool.

United StatesThe cost for a room is astronomical. No parking was kind of a drag. Also I wished the bathroom door would close especially when we are paying that amount of money. My partner and I took turns leaving for privacy.
The breakfast and sandwiches were really delightful. The shower was awesome. I loved how it was walking distance to everything.
