United States of AmericaI didn't like that there wasn't a fridge or something to store food and or drinks but we managed.
I liked the room and the bed was super comfortable along with the pillows. Wish we could have taken a pillow to go 😄

This property is a hidden gem! The spa vibe is amazing! Bamboo and sea grass surrounded the pool giving privacy from the street and feeling of relaxation All the products were eco friendly and the food was upscale organic 10 out of 10

United States of AmericaThe price did NOT reflect the accommodations. The general upkeep of the exterior was waning. Pool was dirty, parking was an additional cost even though there was and is plenty of street parking. This stay was NOT an equitable exchange. The location is not the greatest either, good walkability for a few things but not tourism. It's a long expensive ride to see all the main attractions in San Diego. The price should reflect as such.
The bed was very comfortable

FinlandLack of iron and ironing board and coffee maker in the rooms was disappointing. I wouldn’t usually miss an iron but travelling for work sometimes requires it. I’d recommend coffee makers in the rooms.
Great property, beautifully renovated and nice style with lots of lively details. Comfortable spaces.

CanadaThe pricing structure could be more straightforward; the Pearl charges a $20 convenience fee for what other hotels would build into the price, e.g. wifi, coffee.
Elevated but not luxurious decor. Location is great, you can walk directly to the water and nearby shops.

CanadaMy key card stopped working many times and I had to go to reception or call for someone to let me into my room. Not great.
Great place. Good location for biking. They also have bikes to borrow which was lovely.

United States of Americasome aspects of the hotel are looking a little tired. all the extra fees add up and really increase the overall nightly charge. the resort fee is a bit silly, given the winter time pool (shaded and not really heated enough to go in) situation.
Third time at the pearl. we like the aesthetic over typical hotels. the restaurant is convenient and has good quality snacks and local beer on tap. bar/restaurant staff are great.

United Kingdomwe stayed in two separate rooms and the bedding in both rooms felt damp both in the day and at night, possibly the air conditioning we never got to the bottom of it. Being on the main road meant the rooms were incredibly noisy. the restaurant played booming music until 11:30pm on a Tuesday night when there was only one table in the restaurant. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and you could only get coffee from reception before 11am. Very disappointing for the price and wouldn’t stay again.
style and decoration was lovely

United States of AmericaI think that price wise, it can be slightly less.
I loved the vibe that the boutique hotel created compared to how other hotels in the area looked. I also think the staff regardless of their role, made me feel wonderful as a guest. I had a front desk employee clean the pool when I went down there to swim.
