The staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and it has a lovely cosy feel. It was very clean and really quaint. Don’t take room 1 unless you are prepared to duck under the entrance beam. Once you are in its spacious and modern. Room 7 facing countryside and tipi is quiet. Breakfast fruit option was special. The staff made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning. The decor was beautiful and we loved the 15th century doorways. Beautiful food too - we had dinner and breakfast here.
