This property have a happening pub in the ground floor and the ambience looks great. We visited this property on a weekend and the pub music didn't cause any noise in the room we stayed. The breakfast options were good and we liked the quality and taste. The staff were really welcoming and they truly care about their guests. The rooms were maintained well. Overall it was a great choice and we may definitely consider staying there again.

We stayed at Dawson House at the end of August 2023 and found it delightful. We appreciated its British charm, and Innkeeper Martin’s friendly hospitality made us feel so welcomed. The rooms were clean and the Hampstead neighborhood quaint and quiet. It’s the perfect place to stay for a quick weekend getaway. If you’re from out of town, make sure you ask Martin about the area—what to do, where to go and where to eat. He knows just about every nook and cranny in London! We can’t wait to go back and see him.

Really well located if you want to visit London and especially Excel conventions. Cute, old fashioned Inn with really nice personnel. Rooms were tidy and clean and furniture was in good condition and fairly new. But was enough for a really quick shower. Food in the tavern was really good.

I've known the Crown and Greyhound for 40 years and love that I can now stay here, it has lots of memories! The pub is a truly historic inn with great beer, loved to see Proper Job on the bar. Looks like I've written more in the didn't like se lion but they are minor things and I'd come back recommend staying here...it's a great place to stay.

The location was excellent. 2 minutes walk from Holborn underground station. So quiet at night even though hotel was fully booked. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As we were going to the theatre we needed dinner early and quickly. We discovered a lovely pub, The Ship Tavern, around the corner from Holborn underground station where the food in the restaurant upstairs was very tasty and reasonable for central London. Overall, Z Hotel is very good value for central London
