Excellent stay - really comfortable and spacious room. There was no breakfast available while we were there but there is a Sainsburys directly across the street with lots of breakfast options to bring back to the room. Great location for exploring York!

Great place to spend a night in York. It was close to everything I wanted to see. Cute and quirky place.

All the staff were super sweet and nice. It wasn't in my plans to spend a night in York but storm Eowyn made me change them. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. Very easy to find too. I definitely recommend it

Comfortable, clean room. Amazing location. Really couldn’t be better. The pub downstairs is great. Staff very welcoming and considerate. Includes REAL breakfast - full English - and not just cereal or muffins or whatever. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed on vacation.

It’s soooo old and soooo cool! Excellent location. So authentic and interesting. Loved the slanted stairs, creaky floors and we were even treated to amazing 15th century music being practiced upstairs by a local group. A dreamy, unique place. Shout out to Agnieszka with her ghost stories and great service! Nice customers too had fun chatting!!

Although it looks like a rustic cabin on the outside, the interior was modern. My kids loved the hot tub which was warm and ready on arrival. The tall privacy fence was great and the feel of our own backyard. Beds, bedding and towels were high end and comfy. Wonderful to have 2 en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom. Great showers. Very clean. Living room area was perfect to spread out. Each bedroom and living room had AC/Heat, but we didn’t need it. Restaurant on property was fantastic for dinner. Breakfast comes with the booking and was good. Nice to have 11a check out. Lovely staff!
