Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Bartlett, NH is a beautiful place to go away. However, the Bartlett Inn was horrific. It was much smaller than the pictures. It was dirty. Fruit flies and bugs are everywhere. We arrived with no toilet paper in our room and only 1 person worked there and was unavailable. There was a window with no screens that abutted the roof. A child could easily have gotten on the roof. We spent as little time there as possible and left at the first opportunity.
I had stayed at this property when it was Will’s Inn. Location is great. They upgraded the rooms and it looks great. Clean and comfortable. The app for the key is great so you can bypass front desk checkin and out.
Location was Great & Quiet , the Newly Renovated Inn with a Pool infront & River behind it was Awesome & the Gentleman I believe was the Proprietor very understanding & still fully welcomed us even when he noticed 2 dogs with us , totally my fault & forgot to add dogs & he was Great about it , I will be staying here again😊 Recommend it !!!!!
The lady running the Inn was very nice and tried to accommodate us. With teenagers, no AC, no Internet, and no phone service, they were not happy. Therefore, she offered gaming systems and did try to reset the internet.
We stayed at the same place 10 years ago and had a very different experience this time. We will no be returning. It looked like the love the owner use to have was no longer there and the inn was poorly cared for.
Overall a cute little place. Clean enough and met our needs for our one night stay. The Inn did mention they were doing contactless check in. Which sounded great. when they said the room would be "open" we did not expect it to literally have the door left wide open. Needless to say when we got there at 6:30 pm, the room was full of mosquitos and other insects. We then spent the next 90 minutes killing bugs. Note to owners, this is not the smartest idea!
