  • Had a wonderful stay! Looking for a "girls get-away" that would not "break the bank." The Coronado Inn was clean and inviting, cute and quaint, felt safe and secure. Parking easy and convenient. Easy walk to views, food and shopping! Enjoyed it so much, I am returning with my husband at the end of the month! :)

  • This property can’t be beat! The location is absolutely perfect and the view is amazing. We loved our room with separate bedroom for the kids. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was a added bonus. They offered a simple breakfast but it had a lot more options that I was expecting. Cereal, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and fresh pancakes. We got take out a few nights and enjoyed our dinner next to the fire on the roof. It was a hidden treasure! We saved money and had a private dinner with a stunning view.

  • Very small room. So so breakfast. Not what I expected from a RED Roof Inn.

  • I upgraded to the in-room Jacuzzi suite after we spent the day walking around the San Diego Zoo, that turned out to be a great way to end the day...soaking our sore feet, legs and hips. The Inn is an oasis, in that it is quite serene, close to major freeways, and striking distance to all of San Diego. Not too sure some would want to take the 10 min walk to Old Town, unless they are already comfortable negotiating an Urban environment.

  • Rooms were clean, we had a bay view on the 25th floor was beautiful. Ate at Sally's that was a huge let down! View was great, but service was aweful!! Overpriced and Sushi was just ok. Ate at Brew 30 burgers were very tasty. Went to Top of the Hyatt for a cocktail, place was packed! But our bartender Patrick was super nice and gave us some great dinner recommendations, even though their drinks are pricey it was worth it. Was a great weekend getaway.
