It was quite a pleasant and calm stay for a 2 star hotel and the price. The location was ok too considering that there were free parking available. I personally got attracted by the parking and I was worried that it may not be safe, but it was good. The room was clean too.

Just 5 minutes' walk from Union Square and the Theater District, the Golden Gate Hotel is pet-friendly and features free WiFi throughout the property.

The location is nice and clean. Despite of construction going on while we were there and no elevators just the stairs, it is still worth it. It is affordable, accessible and clean rooms.
