Hotels That Guests Love in Talkeetna
  • This place has a loads of charm and character, which makes this roadhouse a winner!!! Free coffee/tea is available at any time in the downstairs lounge – and it was a true pleasure to sit there and savor the atmosphere of this old inn. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. We didn’t try their famous breakfast (it was way too busy), but we had a quiche and pie from their bakery and both were delicious! Location is superb - by the main street in Talkeetna. Very friendly staff!!!

  • Breathtaking views of Denali and surrounding area. Couldn't have asked for a better location! Also, saw moose on our walk around the grounds, which was fun (they were far enough away that we weren't scared). Very lovely people at the reception area and servers - dinner was terrific!

  • Stayed in school teachers house above museum. Private. Quiet. Good facilities. Bought scones from the busy restaurant for breakfast. Ate dinner at a place recommended by them. Was excellent too.

  • The staff was extra accommodating in letting us see the rooms before we checked in and just made sure we were happy with what we were getting! Clean and comfortable rooms and kind of had a B&B feel to it! The Inn was in walking distance to downtown.

  • This was a great place to stay overnight in Talkeetna. It was a 5 min drive to town and had everything you needed for your stay. They provided information about the area and had a long list of recommended things to do. It was also great to have a kitchen for cooking a dinner on our own. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, gas grill, dual hot plate/portable stove burner as well as pots/pans, dishes, and cutlery. As a warning many of the stores in town are overpriced, so pick up anything you might need before you get here
