Exactly what we needed - greeted by Audre, she invited to join in for a family style home cooked meal with other guests. It was absolutely fabulous. The food, fellowship and atmosphere was friendly and made us feel ‘right at home’. After sunset we enjoyed the bright stars glowing in the dark mountain sky, sounds of the Cuckco birds and owls from our balcony while we enjoyed a glass of wine. We both agreed that this experience was beyond belief and would have loved to stay for a week.
Sauze
At the inn, all rooms are fitted with a desk. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Auberge et Gites de Sauze also have a mountain view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. The view was breathtaking, the place beautiful. I truly enjoyed the peace and the delicious food. Julia was very kind and friendly — we will definitely come back!
Roubion

I felt so welcomed here! Pauline was the best host one could ask for. The food was incredible. The scenery so beautiful.

Very friendly hotel owner and personal. Really good dinner and breakfast. Also a safe place for our bicycles and even some ice-cubes for our drink bottles have been offered. We hopefully will come back in the future!
A beautiful garden, very nice host who spoke perfect English. We had a great local craft beer in the garden and a very nice dinner in the village (walking distance). Motorcycle parking is flat right outside the gate to the hotel. You can hear a bit from the adjoining room. I can highly recommend this place!!
Stunning small hotel in an incredible setting. We had cycled there and they were able to accommodate our bikes no problem. The hosts are lovely and extremely helpful. The dinner was the best meal we had all trip and the breakfast was great too (homemade bread and croissants)
Charming little hotel managed by the owner himself, the rooms are tidy, comfortable and it's a nice spot to rest when hiking/traveling in "le Mercantour". Dinner is optional and cooked by the owner himself for €27 (delicious, very convenient and exclusive for guests only).

Well located, very comfortable stay at a small hotel with good food, helpful and friendly staff and spacious rooms. The staff allowed us to park our motorcycles in the garden and erected an umbrella over them to keep the rain off. Food was good both at dinner and breakfast.
