Very clean and spacious, attractive room, huge comfortable bed with good quality bed linen, big TV, spacious bathroom, large shower cubicle and great towels, first meal in the restaurant was delicious (beef bourguignon), good local ale at a reasonable price, breakfast was mixed but full English was very good. Dark haired lady on duty on our first night was lovely, friendly and very professional (apologies for not having a name). Contact via the app was good and the code access worked well. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and comfortable rooms, very cosy place to spend a rainy evening. Really excellent food at the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing! We stopped for one night to break up the drive from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer, will definitely be back.

What a great find. Location in is perfect to explore the Lake District. The room had a beautiful outdoor court yard, a fantastic communal space with coffee machine, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The room was spacious, beautiful bathroom, the fridge was stocked with juice, milk and yoghurt. There was cereal and bowls. Not expected but appreciated. TheBrown Cow Inn was walking distance and the food was great. They also deliver. Overall great place to stay.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Amazing location, very friendly staff and super food. With many just having a drink after walking the fells, we felt quite privileged to be staying here

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. We stayed here for 11 nights. We have enjoyed the area; discovered the nature reserves along the coast line, the mosses and the hills and lakes of the closeby Lake District. The variation of landscapes in one area is unique. Every day we started with a tradional English breakfast and finished most days with a beer in the pub. There is an enclosed car-park as you need a car around here. There is wide range of restaurants in the city center. Lynn and Jim are enjoying running their Inn.

The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

The location and the service are superb, the owners were so very sweet and helpful even despite us arriving late they still offered us dinner and helped us out with the cycling It’s a great location to stay incase you’re hiking Scaffel Pike Couldn’t recommend the place more

Three Shires Inn is a family-run inn set in Little Langdale, in the heart of the Lake District National Park. Perfect location. Small but lovely room with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bathroom etc. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Friendly service. We will come again.

This hotel is situated in the centre of the village of Bowness-on-Windermere, just 2 minutes’ walk from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. Wi-Fi is free in public areas. The room is a bit cramped but the facilities were perfect and we had a great two days there. It was very close to the boat pier and easy to eat.

This traditional 17th-century Cumbrian inn is set in the Eden Valley, between the old market towns of Appleby and Penrith. Meals were excellent and staff went above and beyond to help me after I forgot a couple of items in the room.
