Situated in Saxmundham, 13 km from Framlingham Castle, Sibton White Horse Inn features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Room was excellent. It was very cold outside but room was very warm and excellent shower. Food was much better than normal pub grub. Staff were exceptional.

Located in Yaxley, 34 km from The Apex, The Auberge provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had an exceptional and unique experience at The Auberge, a hidden gem discovered during a spontaneous overnight stay. Having travelled from London, we found this charming spot unexpectedly and were delighted by the understated elegance of the accommodation. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, including high quality bedding and towels which made for a very luxe feel. You could really see how much thought had been put into the presentation of the room. The bathroom had added safety features (suction bath mat and handle within shower) which were greatly appreciated. Luckily for us, on a Monday evening, the restaurant is reserved for guests only, and the meal well exceeded our expectations! Jason, who served them, was knowledgeable, dressed impeccably (including silver tray and white gloves!) and provided details about each dish and the locally sourced ingredients. And, unsurprisingly, breakfast followed suit, sans the silver tray and white gloves but certainly a great way to start our day! If we had arrived on a different night, we undoubtedly would have missed out on a reservation at the restaurant. So, if you're planning ahead for your stay, be sure to treat yourself to a fabulously memorable meal - just remember to book the restaurant in advance. This is definitely not your typical 'pub grub'! However, it is definitely a perfect venue worthy of celebrating a special occasion and was a truly memorable experience for us. We have nothing but high praise for Jason and Katie, the couple behind The Auberge, for their entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to their staff and commitment to quality. Their shared vision for excellence and growth is evident in their thoughtful and precise approach to the business. Their remarkable achievements in building their business in such a short time are highly commendable.

Situated in Hawkedon, 12 km from Ickworth House, The Queen's Head features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. The location was advantageous being in a peaceful village in deep countryside but not far from attractive towns such as Long Melford. The loft rooms were cosey, comfortable and very well provided. Scott and his wife were excellent hosts and most helpful and the meal was very enjoyable. The Queen's Head has plenty of character and agreeable ambiente.

The Bull is a historic coaching inn located in the center of charming Woodbridge. The property overlooks Market Hill with the impressive Elizabethan Shire Hall and the beautiful St Mary’s Church. A wonderful place, very clean room and confortable bed, excellent dinner and breakfast, nice people.

Built in 1450 the Bull Hotel is a timber house in the charming East Anglian village of Long Melford. The former Coaching Inn offers en suite rooms and fine food. Obviously a perfect period building experience.

Set in Beyton, The White Horse offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge and a bar. Very quiet location but close to major roads to get you where you need to go, great pub atmosphere where everybody is friendly, great breakfast and evening meals, outstanding room and ensuite, very good value for money and of course you have the historically Beyton geese outside on the green
