We had an exceptional and unique experience at The Auberge, a hidden gem discovered during a spontaneous overnight stay. Having travelled from London, we found this charming spot unexpectedly and were delighted by the understated elegance of the accommodation. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped, including high quality bedding and towels which made for a very luxe feel. You could really see how much thought had been put into the presentation of the room. The bathroom had added safety features (suction bath mat and handle within shower) which were greatly appreciated. Luckily for us, on a Monday evening, the restaurant is reserved for guests only, and the meal well exceeded our expectations! Jason, who served them, was knowledgeable, dressed impeccably (including silver tray and white gloves!) and provided details about each dish and the locally sourced ingredients. And, unsurprisingly, breakfast followed suit, sans the silver tray and white gloves but certainly a great way to start our day! If we had arrived on a different night, we undoubtedly would have missed out on a reservation at the restaurant. So, if you're planning ahead for your stay, be sure to treat yourself to a fabulously memorable meal - just remember to book the restaurant in advance. This is definitely not your typical 'pub grub'! However, it is definitely a perfect venue worthy of celebrating a special occasion and was a truly memorable experience for us. We have nothing but high praise for Jason and Katie, the couple behind The Auberge, for their entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to their staff and commitment to quality. Their shared vision for excellence and growth is evident in their thoughtful and precise approach to the business. Their remarkable achievements in building their business in such a short time are highly commendable.

Ubicato a Hawkedon, a 12 km da Ickworth House, The Queen's Head propone un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un bar. The location was advantageous being in a peaceful village in deep countryside but not far from attractive towns such as Long Melford. The loft rooms were cosey, comfortable and very well provided. Scott and his wife were excellent hosts and most helpful and the meal was very enjoyable. The Queen's Head has plenty of character and agreeable ambiente.

The Bull is a historic coaching inn located in the center of charming Woodbridge. The property overlooks Market Hill with the impressive Elizabethan Shire Hall and the beautiful St Mary’s Church. Ottima struttura che condivide l'ingresso col ristorante, bella atmosfera, camere calde, pulite e dotate di ciò che serve.

Costruito nel 1450 il Bull Hotel occupa una ex locanda di posta in legno nel villaggio di East Anglian Long Melford. Oggi vanta camere con bagno interno e serve piatti deliziosi. Location molto bella e caratteristica, anche se non molto manutenzionata, ma rimane comunque bella perchè tutto originale di un tempo

Very quiet location but close to major roads to get you where you need to go, great pub atmosphere where everybody is friendly, great breakfast and evening meals, outstanding room and ensuite, very good value for money and of course you have the historically Beyton geese outside on the green
