Overlooking the River Thames, The Swan is a Victorian inn offering home-cooked food and luxurious rooms. The Swan is situated in Staines, just 15 minutes’ drive from Heathrow Airport. Wonderful. Met by Paul for breakfast and he was a pleasure to talk with. He shared about the family of swans that came to eat each morning. He went above and beyond expectations by assisting us to get documents to get an emergency passport! Also, the evening gal at the desk was very helpful too. We loved sitting by the fire with a drink in the evening.

The room was fabulous, the bathroom was huge and the shower was amazing! So much room and the best so comfortable! The staff were above accommodating and helpful. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious! Wished I had stayed longer! Claire, the manager, was extraordinary! Taylor was beyond helpful!

I liked the convenience of it being so close to the rail station and the fact that it was a single room. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. Especially when it came to having a breakfast box. as I was leaving early the next morning.

It was clean, nicely decorated, had everything I could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were great. The tapas in the evening were well prepared and nicely served. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.
