Smooth communication via Whatsapp about the jungle tour and transport from Medan to the accommodation. Nice location, close to restaurants and shops, nice view of the river. Delicious food, but especially the friendly people who work there made this an unforgettable experience for us. The guides during the jungle tour were very skilled, attentive and patient.

Ecotourism Bukit Lawang Bungalow is located in Bukit Lawang and features a garden and a terrace. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The bungalows are a great, chill place that feels immersed in nature. The deck is great for chilling with the family and a beautiful spot to enjoy the meals, which were all delicious. It’s out of the way of the main town and near Landak river for swimming which was really enjoyable for us

Located in Maninjau, 30 km from Gadang Clock Tower, Bagoes View Cottages provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The owner is super kind, she adapted the menu to my dietary requirements and made me the most amazing tortilla in Sumatra, she also took me to town on her motorbike to start the bike loop around the lake. Everything was so easy and smooth, they have all the info you need to know to enjoy your time at the lake. She also arranged my transfer to Padang. The massage they offer is also worth trying it. Last but not least, the views from the cottage are incredible!

A wonderful place with clean, comfortable cottages, and dinner at a communal table where all guests had the opportunity to get to know each other, chat, and share experiences. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We went on a snorkeling trip for a chance to see the paradise. The owner cares about the environment, tries to minimize plastic use, and runs a sea turtle protection project. We highly recommend this place.

Air Manis Hillside Villa Cafe & Resto er staðsett í Padang, 1,5 km frá Air Manis-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og verönd. The property is well located. It is off the beaten track so it is quiet and peaceful (unless the neighbor has karaoke), but it is only a 10-minute scooter ride to the center. Breakfasts do not have a large selection, but everything is fresh and delicious (including local fruit). The staff tries very hard with every contact. Thank you very much to Rivaldi and Herwin for their hospitality, smiles and kindness. I recommend Air Manis Hillside!

The house is cozy and well-maintained, with a great surf vibe. The owner is super friendly and always helpful, making sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking to surf and relax!

We loved it so much we stayed for 5 extra days! You cannot beat this location. The snorkeling just in front of the bungalows is some of the best on the island. The rooms are simple and yes ours didn’t have a sink but it didn’t really phase us. The owners are lovely and very helpful.
