We loved our stay at Kinnitty Castle! I wish it had been longer and the weather a little more cooperative. The grounds were lovely but we didn’t get to walk around as much as we would have liked. The staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were amazing. The food was very good as well!

This hotel reminded me of the First Class Stateroom on the Titanic (in a good way!), with its grand public rooms including a magnificent entrance, wonderful staircase, imposing chandeliers, sweeping reception desk, well-stocked bar and fascinating library, not to mention the panelled ceilings, deep carpets and excellent staff. And to cap it all, the hotel is right in the middle of Tullamore and has plenty of private parking. Breakfast was, of course, excellent and plentiful. Winner.

Quiet location near the canal, with nearby parking. Darren did more than expected to make us enjoy the stay. Good breakfast, and the nearby pub serves an excellent pint of Guinness. If I ever have a reason to come back to this area, I would definitely stay here again.

The castle and grounds are pristinely kept. The staff are warm and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional and the dungeon bar had amazing dinner options. We especially enjoyed chatting in the library bar and sitting by the fire in the lounge. We met wonderful guests and told/heard so many stories. We can’t wait to go back!

Staying at a castle was a bucket item. Kinnitty Castle was the best. You were treated like a king or queen. The food was fabulous the staff wonderful. We had a great time with Shawna and Lucy, they were so much fun. The rest of the staff was great. The castle experience was exceptional.

Lovely atmosphere, didn't get stuffy like other hotels so cleans Nd fresh air was lovely. So close to the town that we just walked into town for ramble and dinner
