The Locanda Palazzone is a really unique property in that it’s a 13th Century farmhouse that has been thoroughly gutted and modernized. As a result, the rooms and spaces are spacious, visually clean and comfortable. Most rooms are two story loft style with dramatic windows, but one room is all one level level (recommended for older travelers). The staff is really friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are well fed, organized and comfortable. Additionally, the beds are firm, toiletries luxurious (they remind me of Hermes), and the property itself sits in a winery with an amazing view.

Breakfast was robust and we ate dinner there also which was truly authentic Italian cuisine. We loved the staff and their kindness. Would return here!

The host, Elisa is extremely friendly & helpful. The room is pretty, clean and bed is very comfortable. The location is fantastic, perched on the hill of a sweet little town - the garden gives you access to the most stunning sunset views!
