The Locanda Palazzone is a really unique property in that it’s a 13th Century farmhouse that has been thoroughly gutted and modernized. As a result, the rooms and spaces are spacious, visually clean and comfortable. Most rooms are two story loft style with dramatic windows, but one room is all one level level (recommended for older travelers). The staff is really friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are well fed, organized and comfortable. Additionally, the beds are firm, toiletries luxurious (they remind me of Hermes), and the property itself sits in a winery with an amazing view.

Located in Valfabbrica, 15 miles from Train Station Assisi, Sui Passi di Francesco provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant.
