I had hurt myself in the beginning of my trip, and they asked how I was doing almost everyday, and even took me to some of my appointments. They made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. On top of that they served some of the best traditional Japanese food I’ve ever had in their small restaurant located at the inn. The quality of the food would not change even if they were full and busy. We ate there a decent amount as the prices were very good. Being injured for most of my trip was not fun, but having Aki and Shin around made it more bearable while everyone was enjoying all the snow. Definitely we love to see them again at the See You Inn.

There is a beautiful outdoor dog run, the owners have dog supplies (pet circle and pet sheets) on hand, and they love having dogs stay. They will even take your dog for a walk while you go snowboarding! I stayed over new years with my two dogs, and it was so fun being around so many people with their dogs; our New Year's Eve party had as many dogs as people! However, if you don't like dogs it won't be a problem, because there are several rules in place to make sure everyone is happy. If you like to travel with your pets and see them enjoy their vacation, I recommend you stay here. The location is quiet and beautiful, but still only a few minutes drive to the station and ski areas. There are several good restaurants in walking distance. The free shuttle buses also all have stops right near the property. The owners were also kind enough to drive me in their car on several occasions, for a very reasonable price. It is a family run property with the real Japanese style and many Japanese guests. It is great to support a local family and local vibes instead of Western owned properties dominated by Western tourists. The communal bathroom areas are kept clean and allow for privacy. Because it is a small hotel, it doesn't really feel like you are sharing the bathroom at all. The rooms have proper wall heaters and there is a lovely wood stove in the communal kitchen area. The mattresses could have been better, but I still slept well surrounded by the peaceful forest. I will definitely be coming back and will stay for longer next time :)
