Situated in Ourém, Casa do Castelo Ourém has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 13 km from Our Lady of Fatima Basilica, 48 km from Monastery of Alcobaca and 12 km from Chapel of the Apparitions. The inn features family rooms. The staff were amazing. Beatriz took great care of us. She helped to advise us with our plans and she made us feel very welcome. We have food alergies and she assisted us with arranging our dinner at the restaurant on site. Chef Rui was also very helpful and cooked us a wonderful meal which we enjoyed very much. The views and rooftop area were very special. We can't wait to return!

The air-conditioned rooms of the inn all feature a living area with a flat-screen cable TV, desk, free WiFi, private bathroom with free toiletries and a view over Golegã. Some rooms also feature a balcony. The location was central in a small town famous for its horses. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Everything about the property was superb. Our room was comfortable and quiet and we slept so well. Breakfast was good and the lovely Portuguese woman who served us was very kind and efficient. We don’t speak Portuguese and she didn’t speak English but we got on just fine with google translate. The courtyard garden was charming and full of colour. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely place outside the main town. A bit of a walk if you do not have a car but manageable. Beautiful surrounding area and peaceful. Lovely staff and pilgrim dinner was great. There is wine for purchase and they had a good variety.

A rustic, spacious property, a short drive away from Tomar. Well equipped kitchen. Full size fridge freezer. The beds were comfy (we like hard beds). The shower water was nice and hot. We had an access to the first floor patio with decent views. Friendly owner/care taker. Property's car park was nearby.

Wonderful place to stop on the camino. A little bit of luxury, too, pamper yourself. 😀 Our room had a kitchenette so we could cook ourselves dinner and breakfast.

Good location in the heart of Tomar. The room was very comfortable and clean; staff were helpful and considerate. They made the extra effort to have gluten-free bread for me at breakfast - something that many hotels and guest houses didn't do. I have celiac disease, so asked each property when booking whether their breakfast had gluten-free options. Most simply responded that there were options available - Thomar Story was one of the few that actually provided gluten-free bread.

The receptionist was very helpful and guided us around the town with a map and where to have dinner. The room was a good size with excellent toiletries. A coffee pod machine is also provided along with a small stocked fridge. The hotel is very new and in a very good location - just a five minute walk to the old town.

Located in a very quiet countryside area but only 0.4 miles from a recently renovated huge square which is right in front of Tomar central train station. The innkeeper (Luis Ferreira) always made sure that the guests were happy and that nothing was missing for a pleasant stay.
