We don't see that kind of dedicated and passionate hospitality very often. The hotel is located near the south gate market, and you can find eating options around. It is also super close to the main temple. Highly recommend.

This hotel is located inside Chiang Mai’s historic Old City, on its peaceful inner edge. Surrounded by temples in a quiet residential area, it offers a calm base to explore. Markets, shops, and cultural sites within the Old City are a short walk away. Free WiFi is available throughout. Such a wonderful stay! We are two couples, one vegetarian and one not, and everyone raved about the breakfast. Very comfortable room, even the small double room was plenty of room. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything you need but just far out enough to be quiet. Staff were always so friendly!

The girls who work there are just great! So nice, so friendly, so helpful. They helped us book a rafting tour in the north of Chiang Mai and booked a bolt to the airport for us. So nice! The room was really nice and spacious. We did not know that our bathroom was open air (no roof above shower). Of course, this looks great but a bit stressy with insects. The pool is also a welcoming refreshment after a walk around then city. You are at the Tha Pae Gate in 2-3min by foot,, perfect to walk around the old town with no extra transportation necessary.

As soon as we arrived, Marcel gave us ideas on what to do and even sorted out a motorcycle hire for us. It is a very peaceful guesthouse and the gardens and beautiful.

Big rooms, big comfortable bed and Nuy is the best host. If you need something, she can help you. She also runs a Cafe, where she serves the best Cappuccino in town and delicious food. We liked to stay a bit outside of the city since it is more quiet and the Appartement offers everything you need. We did lots of hiking and strolled through the city - everything is easy reachable with motorbike or grab.

It is not next to the center but good for people that look for calm, want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and like to be next to the nature. There is a nice small waterfall not far away, it is 30 minutes to walk at maximum. Small shops and food stands are also close. The stuff is very friendly. We could even leave our laguagge on the check-out date at the accomodation till the evening as our bus left at 8pm. Thanks a lot for the comfortable stay !

Sathu Hotel is only a 10-minute drive from Chiang Mai International Airport. I highly recommend it, in the heart of the city, close to the main temples, markets and restaurants. The reception staff were always super attentive in helping us with everything related to accommodation or how to improve the experience of our trip. They even brought breakfast forward so we could go on our tours. The room was just like the pictures, very clean and well structured, with a lovely pool to enjoy after a day of sightseeing.
