The breakfast was delish. Dinner was amazing and we enjoyed the happy hour and just spending our evening relaxing. The open air dining was perfect. The location was perfect for excursions. We loved the snorkeling and blue cave. They were breathtaking. And the volcano was unreal.
I only stayed here one night but it was a great budget place to stay, with beautiful ocean views and the sound of the waves at night was pure bliss. The room was clean, with a private bathroom and a nice warm shower. There was only 1 option for dinner (granted there were only myself and one other guest at the time) but the food was good!
We really liked the idea of sponsoring the locals by going to this resort as it was owned by Tom's family. Breakfast and lunch were good. You eat with an amazing view. Unfortunately Margareth did not cook dinner and Tom is a great guide, an even better driver, but cooking is not his stronger side. There are two resorts close by with very decent food. The Blue hole 1 or 2 is right in front of the resort and it was amazing to swim and snorkel in there. Great spot for whale watching.
John and Veronique were amazing hosts and were extremely helpful when our flights got cancelled. They happily involved us in their local culture and showed us their customs. Everything is clean, beds are super comfy. When the shower head broke he immediately fixed it within 24h. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner for reasonable prices and all meals very good and delicious. I'm all positive about my 4-night stay, highly recommended!
Beautiful location with some incredible snorkelling right out the back at the blue hole! It was lovely to eat breakfast overlooking the sparkling ocean. The included breakfast of bread and tea was very tasty. There was only 1 option available for dinner each of the nights we stayed, but these meals were delicious!! We accidentally left a bag in our room on checkout, and Margaret was kind enough to help to arrange some departing guests to fly it back so we could meet them at the airport, which was very kind.
The location is amazing with the best snorkeling in blue hole #2 right out the front of the property. Tom's family are keen to host well and share the responsibility despite being busy with their own lives. The views are amazing. The food portions are generous and more than adequate. Best to think of it as being invited over to someone's house for dinner with one option, rather than ordering off a menu.
Very relaxing, beautiful, quiet place. Tom was a wonderful host who took us to the volcano and a local Kustom Village. Great breakfast and dinners offered too.
Location was great 5 min drive from airport, next to white grass resort. Owned and run by ni vsnuatu native people unlike other resorts. You are able to arrange all tours easily from there, in fact owner drives you to each and around. Room had air con, good flush toilet and bed was comfy. Seemed clean too. Food was really good but mostly got told what was for dinner for all, rather than choosing off menu. This was similar at wgitegrass though.
The staff was very nice and helpful. They did a good job coordinating all the different activities you can go do and see. The resort was beautiful and the food was consistently delicious for lunch and dinner. Overall a great place to stay will in Tanna and great things to do and see while you are there.
