Great hotel, with an amazing colonial atmosphere. The staff is extremely kind, and they genuinely go the extra mile to make the customers feel at home. We stayed here twice during our trip to Colombia. The first time we were in the Suite with outdoor shower and private plunge pool for 4 nights. The room was huge and more than we really needed. We think the water and plants in the outdoor shower attracted some mosquitos as our second stay was in the junior suite and we didn’t see any mosquitos. The Junior Suite was also huge and had a more private outdoor sitting area whereas the Suite sitting area was right near reception so more people walking by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If we were to go to Barichara again, we would absolutely stay here but in the Junior Suite.
