Absolutely wonderful overnight stay. After a tiring day, I didn't think we would come home to somewhere comforting in the middle of nowhere. The shower had some lovely local shampoo and soap. The bed was super cosy, the fan worked fine and it was really clean. The restaurant was the highlight (apart from the view), the chef working was a wizard with her passion fruit cheesecake and lemon cheesecake. I hope she knows how good it is, no cheesecake will ever top it. My partner and I fell in love with it. Her bolognaise was super too, I recommend! The jacuzzi is warm and there is even an outdoor net we could walk on suspended over the flowers. It is beautiful at night time and you can hear all the animals. We saw lizards, birds, butterflies etc. Their flowers are gorgeous and there's lots of little paths to walk around. The window in the room even had a netting on the outside to prevent mosquitos getting in, and we didn't see and insects in the room. Honestly, we wish we had booked an extra few nights :(

It's a beautiful accommodations surrounded by nature! The room is your own haven with screened walls on some walls for a bug-free immersion into the forest. Very light/clean/airy! The night insects whistle at night, and you wake to the birds in the morning! The grounds are stunning and immaculate! They have lovely cats & dogs happily enjoying the property with you! Especially Mateo!:: ... They have the best customer service, handling all your needs, and they speak English and Spanish which can be a big plus for travelers! They sent their dogs with me for the back roads hike to beautiful waterfalls! The dogs led the way (pic attached!). Then when I came back, I tracked mud all over my floor. Carmen instantly arrived with a mop and cleaned my floor! Then I had a perfectly clean room again! 👍 .... I fell in love with Trompito, and the staff here mentioned a nice apartment down the road, which ended up being perfect for me, and now I will be neighbors to this lovely accommodations that offers you a unique and complete experience of a lifetime!

Kantawa is a stunning oasis. Our rooms was gorgeous, full of beautiful touches. The bed was a dream! The grounds are lush, quiet and border a flowing river. The spa is everything we could want, from wet & dry saunas to hydro massage loungers to hot tubs and cooling cascades. The staff is amazing, from check in, to meals, to spa services to check out!

Very nice place, a little rough to get to the Hostel if you have luggages because there are a lot of steps and the high humidity makes it tough and tiring. The staffs are extremely nice and helpful and there are kittys and doggys which is always a +. The hostel is literally at a 2 min walk distance from the Tayrona Park.

A lovely peaceful escape in nature with very warm and kind hosts! The food they cook is exceptional and good value. The building is rustic and looks like a treehouse. You have a view to the nearby river that you can swim in and the forest and hills behind. They even have a jaccuzzi and very friendly pets. The guests I met were calm and had some nice chats together. I was able to leave my luggage as I stayed overnight in Tayrona Park for a small cost. Would definitely stay again and can recommend!

Totally everything! That magical place is the most beautiful place , its a real paradise. The views from all of the parts of this hotel is something breathtaking .The host was super friendly,kind and he helped to us with everything. With the information about the places about the transport and he always tried to helped us with everything what we needed. Our “cabaña” was tidy, nice decorated and with the small jacuzzi . Also they have there swimming pool what they always care about so is clean. You can also make an order for the dinner and they will prepare it for you :) and of course also breakfast. Drinking morning coffee from that place hits different ☀️ I fully recommend this place 10/10

The property is in the middle of nature, beachfront and with a beautiful river. Perfect for someone looking to enjoy nature and disconnect, while enjoying the comfort of a very good hotel: excellent food, excellent service, very clean rooms with AC (hard to find in Tayrona). Beach is amazing, however I would not recommend getting in the water, unless you can handle yourself in the water. my favorite place was the river. There are also lots of things to do in the surroundings: Tayrona National Park, Palomino, Rio Claro, among others.
