I was looking for a place to stay with a hot tub near hiking trails and this place did not disappoint. Though small, it still had plenty of space, so I never felt cramped, and the bed was quite comfy for me. There was wireless charging as well as USB ports and outlets, so we had plenty of options to charge our electronics and our internet connection was great. The hot tub was set up in advance, so we could just head out and use it whenever we wanted without worrying about settings. Although there isn't food available nearby, there were plenty of places in the area available for delivery through Just Eat, so we had a variety of food we could order and pick up at the gate. Would love to stay here again.

The W Hotel Edinburgh is undoubtedly one of the most visually striking and modern hotels in the city. The design is sleek and contemporary, with a definite "wow" factor from the moment you walk in. The views over Edinburgh were a real highlight, especially from the rooftop bar. Service was generally excellent—friendly and attentive staff, especially at reception and in the bar. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Edinburgh, perfect for exploring both the historic and modern sides of the city. Overall, a luxurious stay that delivers on style and atmosphere.

I took my family to this marvelous hotel for three nights, and everything about it exceeded my expectations. The rooms were beautiful and impeccably clean, but what truly stood out was the warmth and professionalism of the entire teamfrom the concierge and receptionists to housekeeping. One evening, my son fell ill, and the kindness shown by the hotel staff moved me deeply. A receptionist (whose name I, unfortunately, can’t recall) arranged transportation for us to the hospital and even more incredibly, the hotel covered the cost. She checked on us the next day with genuine care and concern. That level of empathy and service is something I will never forget. This experience left a lasting impression on our family, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay not only comfortable but truly meaningful.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach house, it's in a great spot, right on the beachfront in Portobello which was such a treat. Two good sized double rooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a kitchen/living room space for hanging out in. Plus a lovely helpful host too! Thanks for having us ❤️

The spa was very good. It allowed for a relaxing time. Allowing specific children times afforded one the ability to abstain or join during a slightly more raucous period. Overall it was very pleasant.

It was quiet and clean and very peaceful! Very chill neighborhood got some small bakery with fresh food and nearby grocery stores! We stayed in the king room, it was lovely for us couple. Lots of nice nearby takeaways (Gurkha is an amazing Nepalese/Indian restaurant, kohinoor (not good we had to throw away the food), just a suggestion for anyone who decides on a takeaway). Even though the bathroom was sharing it was clean and well maintained - I am very particular about clean toilets and bathroom and was skeptical of sharing initially, but this was good. Beach is a short walk away, Edinburgh and the surroundings are a walk friendly place so expect lots of walking. There's always buses running throughout to and fro from the city centre. Our room was also very clean and tidy and we tried to leave it the same way :) The place did justice as per the pictures and info shown.
