One of the my best stays in Iceland. Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

What was there not to like!! The house was amazing, the views were the best we've seen. The hosts were thoughtful with leaving a bottle of Champagne for our group. The hot tub was amazing and easy to use. The hiking around the property was awesome. The sheep are not allowed in the area so they are free of poop! The fridge has a freezer!!

It is perfect place to have some rest after driving, hiking and enjoying Icelandic nature. I would highly recommend going there for 5-7 days! Just take a pause and enjoy it! I will definitely come back! Happy to celebrate my birthday there!
