United Arab EmiratesSpending a couple of nights in a medieval tower (yet with gorgeous modern interiors and AC) in such a unique location is absolutely amazing per se, however, the real differentiator versus any other facilities nearby is the customized service provided by Sergio and Andrea. They booked a restaurant on the first day and made sure there was an available table, on the second day they picked us up from train station in La Spezia (instead of catching a cab) and arranged for a dinner under the stars with surprise menu. They were really great.

The location is exceptional, offering stunning panoramic views of the Italian countryside and coastline, especially during sunset. United StatesThe breakfast was outstanding. The dinner we had was also lovely. It is a very nice place to stay -- super cute and modern with a lovely view of La Spezia. It was a little hard to find and it is a hike from the train station but that's what makes it so enchanting.

United StatesWe had a wonderful stay at Torretta San Rocco in Lerici. The view is, without a doubt, the most beautiful in town — absolutely breathtaking at all hours of the day. The rooftop jacuzzi was a dream, especially in the evening with the lights of the bay shining below.
Marco, our host, was kind and attentive, and Grazia, who works with him, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
The apartment was clean, charming, and perfectly located. We loved walking around Lerici and exploring the coast from there.

As other reviews note, yes there are stairs but it was no issue for us when we got to enjoy such a fantastic view. It was great to walk off all the pasta too! We travelled with our toddler who loved the bath and spacious rooms. Having two bathrooms was a bonus! The buses run regularly out the front so it was easy to access town and restaurants. The host went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
