Great stay! Loved the design of our room and having 2 separate beds allowed us to rest and recharge. Sadly we had only 1 onsen on the balcony, so we took turns with my husband. There was a cd player with several Jazz collections. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff made sure to explain the menu and answer all the questions we had. Most of the time they’d use the portable translators. Hot springs/ spa area was rotated every morning, so we got to experience both bath areas. My favorite treat was the vinegar drink after the baths.

This place is a gem within Hakone. They owners have such a great taste and decorated this place with those little details that make you fall in love with a property. They had matcha kits, kimonos, private onsen, comfortable bathrooms. and everything was beautifully curated with japanese style. Also the outdoor spaces are so peaceful and unique. They blend so well with the nature. I took an Uber from Hakone Yumoto station and it was so easy to find.
