The rooms are bigger than the Japanese standard, and are suitable for families with children or a group of friends (4). We have not had the opportunity to have diner or lunch, but the breakfast, which is a set, is excellent. They came at the train station to pick up you.

Room fantastic with great river view, beautiful building throughout, very spacious and well equipped with useful kitchen and lounge space. Loved the onsen! Staff were the best and couldn't have done more to help, including forwarding some shoes I left behind by courier - a difficult process! Walkable to lots of good restaurants and also the excellent sculpture park.

Hotel is historical building...very unique and has good facilities to cook and laundry. Rooms were very spacious and onsen is clean especially the private bath (small) but good.
