The breakfast was amazing, too bad we didnt take the dinner too! Great onsen, the one outside was great after a day walk. The staff was sweet and helpful all the times. They have a shuttle bus operating from the hotel to center and the other 7 public onsens.

First and foremost, the staff were absolutely fabulous — true stars. They were the kindest and warmest people, making sure multiple times that our stay was perfect and that all our needs and preferences were taken care of. One kind young lady even brought us fresh grapes from the market because they were in season, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Even though they don’t speak much English, they tried their best and used a translation device that worked perfectly. Their superb hospitality made a huge difference. The ryokan also had all the amenities we could wish for: beautiful yukatas, toiletries, traditional Japanese sandals, and more. The cleanliness was impeccable — every corner of the room was spotless. The futons were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on, and the room overall felt very cozy. The hotel’s onsen was also very pleasant and relaxing to use.
