The host is super friendly and very considerate, making us very warmly welcome even before arriving the Goat Base. We have experienced earthquake during our stay and the host would check out to make sure we are safe. The place is as new and equipped with high quality appliances and it has everything you need to stay as your home! It is also very spacious which we have no problem at all with 8 people staying. Location is also very good, 15mins drive from station and is just a short drive to Obuse. You don't have to worry about parking as there is an area in front of the house which can park 4 cars at least. We hope to stay here againg next time and for longer!

The house is amazing, with multiple rooms for a large traveling party. Great shared living spaces for our entire group to hang out. Place is very well-furnished with appliances and everything you could need around the house. Amazing view of the city and the mountains from the balcony. Our host was also super helpful and assisted with reservations at restaurants.

Sujit and Hanako-san are wonderful hosts- very warm, friendly and helpful. Hanako-san suggested a day-use onsen (hot spring) nearby where we could enjoy a nice bath one night. They delivered a delicious, healthy breakfast to us every morning. The first night we arrived Hanako prepared a delicious soup for us which was above and beyond what we had paid for. Really nice people!

This places really only big downfall is the location. Though I will say it would have been easier if we had a car. Other than that the onsens and baths were amazing, it was quite not a whole lot of people were there. It was off season so no breakfast or anything was offered but they did have other things to buy and eat. Onsens were nice and hot and they had a tea soak it was quite nice.
