Nat was a great host! Very welcoming, helping us navigate the property. She gave us all the instructions needed to have an excellent stay, and even let us help train the alpacas in the morning. The location was private and peaceful at night. It was like we were alone under the stars. We will never forget our time at Nat’s house truck.

Amazingly beautiful place to stay. We loved everything about our stay, especially though getting to interact with the alpaca’s, especially baby Bobo who was cuter than cute. May was great host, cabin was cozy, breakfasts were delicious. Staying here was a highlight of our trip.

We loved our stay at Ratatnui Lodge - the staff was so accommodating to anything and everything we needed. The rooms were very comfortable; outdoor jacuzzi (needed to be cleaned but still nice) and pool area were a great bonus. Included breakfast was amazing and I had the delicious blueberry pancakes both days. Dinner and Bar/Drinks were also exceptional. Location is great for exploring the north and west side of Abel Tasman. We planned to take a water taxi to the east side but the road was closed to due slips (not a problem we did that on our way out from the east side of the park). Room included basics such as tea and coffee - robes included for relaxing. Truly this was one of our favorite places we stayed. Staff helped us coordinate our activities and when we had to cancel one due to the road being out they made sure we got our refund. Amazing stay!!!

These accomodation is amazing, very clean, spacious, warm and perfect every way! What a stunning view of the beautiful mountains! Made my Nelson trip memorable. So peaceful, that million dollar view was spectacular! Had a lovely time staying here, having a spa pool at night watching those stars in the sky was so cool. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

Located in Marahau, 24 mi from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property.

Perfect spot to explore Abel Tasman! We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The room and bed were super comfortable. Everything was clean and welcoming. The room was equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast on the patio was great. We were able to do laundry while there, too, which was a nice bonus. The owner was a very nice lady, quite helpful. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again one day!
