CanadaOur stay at Danica’s home was truly special. I travelled with my husband, four children and my mother and we all slept comfortably. The loft space was a hit with our kids but my mother also slept there so good for adults too! There was laundry and a spacious living room/kitchen which was well-stocked. The large covered balcony was my favorite - lined with beautiful flowers and a lovely view. There was a bus stop right beside the home but we chose to walk into Bled (a leisurely 35-40 min that even our five year old walked) as every street feels like you are walking in a postcard. Vintgar Gorje is also only a 20-25 min walk from here. The real gem of this vacation property, however, was the host Danica. She was a lovely Slovenian lady who treated us to homemade sweets and her amazing homemade tea from herbs in her garden. She belongs to a local polka group and we tried to go and see her dance but the restaurant was too booked so we were not able to. We thank you Danica for opening your home and welcoming us in to feel like family!

United KingdomThe hotel is an eco friendly option. Free EV charging was available after requesting a log in card from the desk. The breakfast is very nice with a wide range of options. A particularly nice aspect was the sunday morning violinist playing through breakfast. We used the spa and had massages which were clean and relaxing. The hotel is just outside of the busier parts of the town so it is quiet, but only takes a couple of minutes to get to the lake. We would visit again.

Spacious, clean apartment with balcony, comfortable bed, large bathroom and very well-equipped kitchenette (coffee pod machine, dishwasher). Nice garden surrounding the place with lots of amenities to relax. The host Mr Ales was most helpfull, kind and hospitable. The location was perfect - by bike you can reach the lake Bled or Vintgar Gorge within minutes! The place is also nearby the Krma valley which lies in Triglav National Park and provide you with difficult but scenic trail to the mountaints peak.

Location of the hotel is wonderful, we had a room with lake view, so the view was spectacular. Hotel is decorated very nice, with all the details according to events.
SPA with pool, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi was magnificent.
Breakfast was super nice - pancakes, hashbrowns, omelette, desserts, everything you could ask for and more, not to be mentioning the jungle decor of restaurant.
I wish we could stay longer.

We were staying in Hotel Lovec (sister hotel of Kompass) Room was super with heated floors in bathrooms! Beautiful relaxing indoor pool and jacuzzi. Had a very luxurious breakfast and a very nice peaceful stroll near Lake Bled.
Definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing romantic stay!

We had a family room with a jacuzzi bath, which had plenty of space for 4. The rooms have air conditioning and lots of storage space. The breakfasts were nice and the staff were all very pleasant.
