The rooms are large and comfortable. Very nice touch of complimentary snacks and wine + Nespresso machine in the room. We did not make use of the spa and pool but access to sauna and steam room is allowed. Staff is very friendly and helpful, including at the restaurant. Food of very good quality and taste.

Surrounded by large flower gardens, this lodge offers a seasonal outdoor pool from May to October. Carmel-by-the-Sea is 15 minutes’ drive away.

The pool was naturally salted with no chlorine, and the 104°F hot tub was perfect for stargazing at night. Breakfast was à la carte, with a lovely lady personally making us avocado toast—such thoughtful service. Plenty of hot drink options and a beautiful seating area. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring.

Everything was excellent! I really recommend this hotel. Breakfast is included, and the reception guy was polite and he guided us to visit the city in one day!

Perfect location near the beach, wharf, and restaurants. The room was clean, everything worked, and the fireplace was great for chilly evenings. Loved having parking right outside our door. Great stay!

Beautiful property in a picturesque setting. The layout was varied with views around every turn. Kyle assisted us with check-in and was extremely kind and helpful. Watching the sunset from the attached restaurant is highly recommended!
