Great amenities and responsive staff, the beach with kayaks and SUPs right there + the pool and a hot tub. Great for vacationing with kids. Transportation is rather required to get to the restaurants or grocery shops. Placencia village is outside of the comfortable golf cart range but there are great places in Maya Beach closer to the property.

The view of the lagoon/mountains is wonderful and the villa's architecture are hugely interesting. The pool and pool area with hammocks is lovely, the pool is perfectly warm too. Liked the hot tub in the living room and the shower is very cool. Security guard overnight is a good feature.
