The hotel is fairly new. The lobby decoration is very pretty. Though the room is small but very cosy and clean. I enjoyed spending my time at the room balcony. The bathroom amenities are by Thann. Very good toiletries choice.

The host was truly wonderful – very kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. She is a truly respectable and inspiring senior who deserves to be treated with the same sincerity and kindness she shows to her guests. We'd love to come back and stay at her warm and welcoming home again.

The property is in a great location, easy to get a bus to Bern and drive to near by towns. The building and all facilities were beautiful and in great shape. Breakfast was really good! Hosts were really nice and attentive and very helpful. We will definitely come back again!

We had a stunning room with a jacuzzi that overlooks a breathtaking view. We had a fridge full of sweets and a cheese board, wine and champagne, fruit and everything was included in the price. The best hotel we had in Switzerland!!!

We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

One thing that stood out to me was their pet-friendly policy. I was able to bring my little dog along, and they not only welcomed him but also prepared a cozy bed and even provided food for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly valued as a guest. They even gave him a little present, which was incredibly sweet and heartwarming. The spa facilities were top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, Hammam, and the highlight for me was the open-air bath. It was a unique and relaxing experience, allowing me to unwind while enjoying the breathtaking views.
