From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Located in Grindelwald, a 10-minute walk from the train station, Boutique Hotel Glacier offers a restaurant with a terrace, a bar and a lounge with views of Mount Eiger. It was recommended to us by chat gpt! It lived upto everything described - the views were simply breathtaking.

Very attentive reception staff - organised and friendly pick-up service. Exceptional breakfast and dinner. High quality food. Compliments to the chef and its team - they manage to surprise us every day, Extremely helpful staff in general & cosy atmosphere. Rooms are really big for what we have gotten to know of in Switzerland. Nice indoor pool and a beautiful "schwimmteich" outside. And last but not not least: the views are incredible.

The Hotel Caprice boasts a perfectly quiet, but very central location in the mountain village of Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland, and offers you impressive views of the mountains. 10/10 hotel with a stunning view to Eiger. We stayed here for two days, and were so good taken care of by the friendly owners of this beautiful hotel. We got the best hiking tips for mountain parts that are not so crowded, and will forever remember the spectacular nature and views. I can highly recommend a stay at Hotel Caprice.
