Compared to the big hotels in the city, this hotel is small. But it has everything you need. The rooms were good. Breakfast is on the roof top with a beautiful view over the mountains. They offer traditional noodle soup for breakfast (very tasty) but also toast, steamed buns and sweet potato. Coffee and tea are also available. The owners took a lot of time to explain the best routes in the national park to us.

A very beautiful little Hotel right next to the Park Entrance. Perfect place to start your Hikes. The host Anthony is English speaking and very welcoming, he helped us to book tickets and recommended suitable routes through the park and took the time to chat with us every night over a beer or two and telling us about Zhangjiajie. The Rooms are large and newly decorated, everything from Beds to Bathrooms are brand new. There are several restaurants along the road in short walking distance. I can't think of a better place to stay if you want to visit Wulingyuan. Great Value. Highly recommended.

We got in near midnight and a driver was organised to pick us up, for free. Watch-out, he was waiting outside the airport, not at the arrivals doorway. The location feels remote, but it makes the view absolutely stunning and adds to the quiet peace. The Host Lady is well-practised at using a translation app, so I don't think communication is a problem. Breakfast is served in the 'restaurant' which is a separate guesthouse-type area down some stairs outside. The breakfast every morning is roughly the same. There is a fried egg, a fruit (melon one day, or orange the next), a vegetable (a corn one day, or a sweet potato the next day) a bread-type bun, and a bao-bun. AND ALSO a bowl of noodle soup with mince. It can be a lot. Our final breakfast also had rice porridge on top of all that. If you need help planning your day, the Host Lady is happy to help. She is always available on WeChat. If you book the southern entrance of the Zhangjiajie Forrest Park, she can drive you to the entrance (and pick-up) as it's only a few minutes' drive away. If you need a driver for the day for further away, they will book you a driver (you pay them directly via Weixin). We had a driver for the whole day to go to the Canyon Bridge. Our first full day, the Host Lady had a fresh home-made dinner made for us in their restaurant. It was 210 RMB, but it was very nice.

Riverside Peak Lodge Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Park se nachází v destinaci Čang-ťia-ťie a nabízí sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. Národní park Čang-ťia-ťie je 20 km daleko. We really liked this hotel. The room was big and comfortable. The staff was really nice. they did not speak english but had a recorder which would translate from chinese to english. There is a common washing machine so we could do laundry. They also helped us to organize our stay in the park and gave us a map with the itinerary for each day. the hotel is very close to the west entrance of the park, only 6 minutes by taxi.

No.5 Valley Inn obklopený zelení se nachází 2 km od západní brány (vstup Yangjiajie) národního lesního parku Zhangjiajie. Wonderful facilities with lots of character and great views. Frankie and the whole staff really went out of their way to help us plan our local activities in the national park and the restaurant makes amazing dinner and breakfast. Was also very quiet, which we appreciated after lots of time in various cities. Would absolutely stay again :)

My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

What a great spot! The hotel is right next to the Helong Stadium with tons to do, and the Lishui River view is so peaceful. The staff were super professional and friendly. Had an awesome stay—highly recommend for both location and service.
