The courtyard was a great bonus to hang out by when it was raining (covered seating areas). They have the cutest two cats that made our stay extra special. The bed was soooo comfortable. Joye was a great host! He made sure we got the best recommendations and best price for our tiger leaping gorge trip. The location is perfect too.

Our stay was extremely comfortable. We booked the room with two beds and it was spacious and clean. They provide simple breakfast, it was yummy and homely. Location was superb, close to bike hire and China's tuktuk. We rented bikes based on the owner's recommendation for two consecutive days with great value. Two adult bikes and two kids bikes. The only thing I will note is that the shower does not drain quickly enough (so it pools), but this is very minor and did not impact our experience at all. At first glance, we thought it would be difficult to get food. But this is not the case. There are many eateries available within a short walking distance. The location is not near to the old town, it takes around 15 mins by taxi to it. However its view of this hotel is fantastic, I really enjoyed the sunset view from my balcony.

Beautiful courtyard house in a quiet neighbourhood, but very close to restaurants and the south gate of the old town. Rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable and well-stocked, and the breakfast is delicious! Jiuan and his family/team made us feel really at home.

It's very comfortable and homey. Most homestays in Lijiang Old Town are tucked away in alleys, but this one is only three minutes from the main road. The facilities are excellent, and the rooms are spacious. An iron is also provided upon request. Our room was actually only for three people, but we came as an unplanned foursome. However, the hotel allowed us to stay in the same room without any extra charges. We were even provided with bed covers, blankets, towels, and other additional amenities. We went there in early October, and the temperature was already quite cold. We didn't even need the air conditioning in our room; it was so cool. We were even provided with a water heater and a thermal blanket. Mai Lu Jiejie is very kind, she is really kind! She even recommended some halal restaurants for us to eat at, since we are muslims. She also recommended us a place to rent traditional costumes there which is quite cheap. If I go to Lijiang again, I will stay there again .
