We had a wonderful stay at Kawa. There was nothing the staff couldn't do for us. The view is absolutely spectacular, it really felt like a 5 star experience from the moment we got there. Eduardo checked us in and made us feel at home straight away. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant as well as breakfast both days. The presentation was gorgeous as well as delicious flavours. I can't remember the name of our waitress but she was one of the loveliest waitresses we've had in Colombia. There are a number of little touches which really round off the whole thing including actually nice shower gel and a little note for arrival in the room. Could not recommend this place more. There is a small path which takes you straight to town so getting into Salento is super easy.

The grounds are beautifully kept, and the "sendero" walking path is magical. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect and restaurant food was delicious. This is a must visit hotel if you're in the area. One of the staff picked fruit from their trees for a family member at 10pm because they knew she might want some. Simply fantastic service.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). The staff was kind and helpful, and the glamping site itself was amazing. We had a little garden area to ourselves, with a fire pit, bathtub, bathroom + shower, net to relax in, and the tent. Inside, the temperature was very comfortable, they had AC and a fan, everything was clean, and there was free water and coffee. They also bring breakfast to your tent in the morning, and dinner as well if you book it. We had no problems with anything and greatly enjoyed our stay, it felt luxurious but still connected to nature.
