Its wellness area, spa treatments and restaurant are of outstanding quality. I have no words. No wonder most of the guests return year after year. The area is stunning, perfect for relaxing hikes and more, and the forest is right there, out of your window.

This historic hotel is located in the health resort of Schluchsee in the Black Forest. It offers free internet, a summer terrace, and a restaurant serving modern and regional food. Our stay started with the Hotel Manager picking us up from the train station and providing us a thorough overview of the hotel and local activities. The hotel grounds were in impeccable condition and our room was as expected. The meals were excellent, well deserved of their Michelin rating. Overall, it was the guest service that stood out as they took every opportunity to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We spent a fair amount of time in the outdoor hot tub and the natural pool. We were there on an anniversary celebration and our stay was a perfect fit for the occasion.

Auerhuhn, a property with a terrace, is located in Feldberg, 41 km from Freiburg Cathedral, 42 km from Freiburg (Breisgau) Central Station, as well as 45 km from Freiburg’s Exhibition and Conference... We stayed at the apartment for 8 nights a family with two teenage kids. It contains one bedroom, living room a kitchen and a large bathroom including a huge hot tub. Although it is only 46 sqm it was sufficient for our needs and we felt there like at home. The large sofa bed was very comfortable. The apartment was very clean, cozy and looks as a brand new apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. We received upon arrival the Hoch Schwarzwald card which we succeeded to utilize well during our stay and to save a lot of money. The property contains a designated parking space in the underground floor. The building contains a laundry room with 3 washing machines and 3 dryers. You need to pay only 3 euros (3 coins of one euro) to operate the washing machine, The dryer is used for free. We enjoyed our stay in Auerhuhn and strongly recommend of reserving this property.

Excellent flat, certainly liked the jacuzzi, watch out with the amount of bubbles you would like to make, it goes crazy! Everywhere there were accessoires of deer. I love deer! Tip if you are on ground floor, because inside the building there are many doors. I was travelling for work and had a lot of equipment on me : use the terrace window to the car in the front.
