Set in Colmar in the Alsace region, Gîtes du Tichweg offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. We stayed 2 nights and it wasn't long enough! Our apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and our host, Pia, made us feel like family. The accommodations are thoughtfully situated around the stables and grounds; there is a lovely shared garden space with a fire pit, jacuzzi (too early in the season for our stay), picnic area. We stayed in the petit home of the two: the kitchen had all the necessities, it was spotless. My children loved their room. Pia shared how to play with their baby goats as well as how to interact with chickens with my children, which absolutely thrilled them. In the morning she had them bringing clippings to their pen and help her tend to the baby goats. She had excellent recommendations for activities in the area. In the evening, she guided the guests on an evening walk with the goats around the property and gave us all a tour of the stables to meet their horses. The buildings are designed to be sustainable, including a bio-roof on the stable itself, which is so amazing. Everyone we met who was either tending to their horse, or stopping by, was friendly -all of the animals are loved and happy. The area around the property is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. The wine road is easily accessible, if that is something you wish to do. The area has a great deal to offer families beyond vineyards. Grocery options are very close by and Colmar is just a few minutes drive to park and walk. My children and I absolutely loved our stay - my husband could not come with us due to work, so we've already booked another stay in the Fall so that he can accompany us.

Right in the heart of Colmar, situated within a short distance of House of the Heads and Saint-Martin Collegiate Church, MeandYou Hammametspa offers free WiFi, air conditioning and household amenities... Everything about MeAndYou-HammamEtSpa was exceptional! The host was very kind to let us check-in a bit earlier. Because it was a special occasion for us, for a modest fee of 50€, he arranged flowers, chocolates and decorated the room. He walked us through how everything in the house had to be operated. Finally, he continued to remain responsive and reachable via phone and WhatsApp during our stay. As for the accommodation, it was amazing - super-comfortable beds, extra-large sofas and the best part - a grand jacuzzi! Everything that you would find in the house has been very well thought of. There is enough room for extra guests just in case, the lightings were soft on the eyes, TV provided not just in the living room but also where the jacuzzi was, dehumidifier to let the steam get out once we were done with hammam, etc. Every Euro spent for this accommodation was worth it! Offering a year-round outdoor pool and spa centre, Pêche de Vigne & Spa is a hotel located in Rodern, 49 km from Strasbourg. The hotel has a terrace and hot tub. The room looked exactly like on the photos and event better an bigger than expected. The owners seems to have a great taste. With a great attention to details. Very helpful host. Totally liked the shared spaces. We played snocker and the working jubox was a nice surpise. The SPA is small but nice.

Set in Ballons des Vosges National Park, La Maison d’Emilie guest house features a terrace, shared living room, dining area and open kitchen. First and foremost, Guillaume, the manager of the facility, was an amazing person! He was very warm, hospitable and helpful to me and my family. My room was very large and comfortable. It was equipped by some additional stuffs which are very beneficial for any guest. The hotel and my room were very clean and hygienic as well. Breakfast was also various, very delicious and satisfactory. Another important thing is if your travel with vehicle you can park it to the park area of the hotel free of charge! Last but not least, cost/benefit balance is great! If you are to visit Colmar, don’t waste your money with expensive facilities at the city centre. La Maison d’Emilie is spectacular option!
