The golf club location in a rural green setting excellent, and the decor with a timeless elegance of a forgotten era with pressed ceilings, and brought back many memories. Just superb, absolutely lovely.

There is a lounge in the hotel available, which also has a computer for guests to use. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Whitford House Hotel is a family-run property located 3 miles from Wexford town and 17 minutes’ drive from Rosslare Europort. Guests can make use of the leisure club facilities, which include a 20-metre pool, sauna, steam room and a fitness centre. The restaurant was incredible great food and atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The live music was a bonus and just made the night.

There is also a well-fitted kitchen in some of the units equipped with a toaster and kitchenware. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. Great stay. Very spacious and comfortable. Just know you are staying on the premises of an active farm a few minutes outside of Kilkenney, which we loved getting to see the sheep, goats, and cattle all around! Even friendly dogs too.
