On the South Bank of the River Lee in Cork, The Kingsley Hotel features a luxury, organic Spa, a modern health club and an indoor pool. We really liked the attitude towards our beloved dog, there was a sleeping place for the dog in the room, a soft blanket, bowls and gifts, she ate meat sticks with pleasure, a ball, water, bags, it was incredibly nice, our dog felt great! and we decided that she would come again and not just once. A nicely renovated old hotel in a beautiful setting, a few minutes from the ocean. The apartment was very cosy, with lovely wallpaper and a very comfortable bed. Melissa the owner kindly told us about the history of the hotel while we had a wonderful breakfast. The place has a lounge area with antique furniture, ideal for groups.

This was our best stay during a short trip in southwest Ireland. Comfortable, quiet, conveniently located for our needs, with a large, comfortable bed, a very nice shower (we like it powerful), and an excellent breakfast, including great homemade elements. The decently stocked honesty bar was also a nice touch for the nights outside of town. But the element that made it outstanding were the hosts, who really made every effort to adapt to our needs, e.g., some complicated food limitations for breakfast. We have traveled quite a bit in our life and have found many nice hosts in different places, but Corthna Lodge really stuck out positively. If we come back in the area we will surely try to book there again. We also loved the big and very nice garden and the cute and gentle dogs when they were out.

Everything was simply amazing. From start to finish. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay anymore. Everything about this place is top class. The cottages are absolutely spotless and also lovely and spacious. Gerard and Anne couldn't have been anymore helpful and obliging towards us. The pool was so fabulous. We will definitely be returning again. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a good time in West Cork to stay here.
